Stopsley Community Primary School was formed through the amalgamation of Stopsley Infant and Stopsley

Junior Schools in September 2000.

The school was housed in two separate buildings, one of which is Edwardian. The school's popularity is based

on its good reputation, achievements and high expectations.

In September 2014, the construction work that was carried out to connect the two school buildings was

completed and a grand opening hosted by the Mayor of Luton was held. Parents, Governors and many

authoritive figures attended as the oldest living Stopsley pupil and the youngest in the school held the opening

ribbon ready to be cut.  Shortly after the ceremony the children gave a tour of the new building to parents to

show them the fantastic new corridors, classrooms and learning environments that had been built.
