We started our topic 'What have the Romans done for us?' with a great Roman Day. In their Roman helmets, the children learned about the Roman Empire, the invasion of Britain, Roman warfare, were galley slaves, played Roman games and were spectatores at a gladiator fight (well done Miss Janes for defeating Miss Davis!). It was a great day and a fantastic way to begin answering our topic question.
