This week in Reception we have been learning lots about life cycles understanding that within a life cycle there are different stages of life for a living thing. In literacy we wrote all about the life cycle of a frog and we are lucky enough to have our own tadpoles in Reception that we are hoping to release into our school pond when their turn into froglets. This week we have also been looking at the life cycle of a sunflower, and have planted some ready to go into our garden area where they will continue growing. We are taking it in turns to water them and are watching them carefully.  Carrying on with the theme of sunflowers we also did some observational paintings of sunflowers which are now proudly displayed in our classrooms.
