Pirate show

"I be a pirate, that I be. I speaks piratically!"

In year one, we have often boasted of an exciting curriculum.  Today the excitement was off the scale judging by the roars of laughter and "garrrs" coming from the Key Stage Two hall.  It  was our much-awaited Treasure Island performance and drama workshop from the Hobgoblin Theatre Company.  Every child participated in the workshop where they learned to represent in a freeze-frame good and bad story book characters and even dramatic story settings!  The Pirate fun will continue until the end of the school year because there is lots more captivating learning planned including creating pirate characters and writing our own pirate stories.  Don't forget pirate dress up day, coming soon!  The fun continues ...
