The Family Room and Family Worker were set up at Stopsley Community Primary School in September 2006 and is now firmly established as an integral part of our school community. The Family Room is a child and adult friendly room with access and facilities for the disabled and is located to the left of the Key Stage 1 playground gate.

Mrs Tew is our Family Worker and she is available to help and advise you with any queries or problems you may have regarding your child's education and welfare. She can be contacted directly by phoning 01582 611035 option 2.

Our Family Room is a partner site of the Stopsley and Putteridge Children's Centre. Mrs Tew attends regular meetings with the staff of the Children's centre, and their outreach staff often attend the Friday "Stay and Play" sessions.  A community board is in the Family Room with details of events happening both at the Children's Centre and the local community

The whole school works together to make our family provision a success. Our Family Worker, Mrs Tew, is based in the Family Room and co-ordinates and organises sessions, activities and events in the school and the Family Room. Mrs Tew is often on the playground meeting and greeting parents before and after school. The Family Worker is involved in all aspects of school life and has contact with many different outside agencies, so please come in for an informal chat or book an appointment if you would like a confidential meeting.
