Assistant Site Agent

30 hours a week (term time only)

Grade: L2

Salary range: £17,173 - £17972 pro rata (£11701 - £12246 actual)

Contract: Permanent, required as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a confident, enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Site Agent to work with our Premises Manager where you will have the opportunity to learn on the job. Career progression is possible within this role for the right candidate.

The Assistant Site Agent’s main areas of work will be assisting with:

1.         Security of premises

2.         Heating and lighting

3.         Maintaining high standards of cleanliness

4.         Maintaining premises in good state of repair

Assistant Site Agent Requirements

To undertake this Assistant Site Agent role you will have some experience of care-taking duties in a general capacity. You will have basic handy-person skills and be able to carry out some minor repairs including simple plumbing and joinery. Literacy skills are important as well as good communication skills.

There may be a need for some regular locking and unlocking for evening or weekend lettings so a person who can be flexible, willing and helpful is a must.

Hours for this post are currently set at 30 hours per week (6 hours per day). Any negotiable overtime completed is also paid at the same salary grade.

L1A, scale point 6, £4,262.68 (pro –rata)

We are looking to appoint a Cleaner to join our team in September.

Duties will include the cleaning of designated areas to a high standard throughout the school.
