In English children were introduced to the text Cecil the caterpillar. As a starting point children in year 1 explored a variety of vegetables. Fun included, tasting, observational drawings, printing, making vegetable people and vegetable hats. Children also learnt that vegetables are healthy and that they are good for our bodies. We also shared words to describe our favourite vegetables.
