Pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 had a visit from award-winning author Stewart Foster on Friday 22nd November. 

Foster's novel The Bubble Boy won the 9+ age group category of the 2016 Sainsbury's Children's Book Awards.

Anti-bullying is an important issue for Foster that features, in his storylines and he spoke passionately about this topic to the children.

Foster also facilitated a creative writing workshop for Year 6 pupils. This sparked a lot of creativity and inspired the children to write freely, using their own ideas and building upon them.

The students were keen to share their short stories with Foster, and he gave some fantastic constructive feedback and helped them develop their ideas. 

It was an inspiring and motivational day for all the children and adults alike.
