    Shrove Tuesday

    Getting Christmas ready

    Last week FLAG club spent some evenings getting our space ready for Christmas.  We chose our favourite festive music and put up the tree, some fairy lights and also made our own snowflake decorations to take home.  This week we will be designing baubles 🎄.

    Halloween activity evening

    FLAG club had a lovely evening creating all things spooky!  We iced biscuits, made pumpkins & bats to hang up as decorations to use both at school and at home.  We then finished the evening with a group quiz.

    Film night Friday

    Each Friday, FLAG club has a film night. The children take it in turns to pick which films they would like to watch & vote for their favourite.  We like to have a different snack each week. This week we decided to make strawberry & peach drinks to enjoy with the film!

    Create your own monster

    FLAG club have been busy creating their own monsters for a competition which could see them have their pictures published in a book as well as winning a prize for both themselves and the school.  Lots of hard work has gone into creating these and the children are very proud of their creat...

    Arts and crafts

    This half-term we are focusing on arts and crafts. Each week we will have a new craft activity such as painting, wood crafts, mindfulness pictures, and lots more!  We will post some of our creations in the coming weeks.

    Pancake day

    As pancake day only happens once a year, we went all out on pancake day and made sure we had them for breakfast as well as making our own at after school club.  The children enjoyed helping to make the pancake mix as well as choosing their own toppings.

    Quiz night!

    FLAG club had their own quiz night which involved all year groups mixed together in groups.  We had a quiz made up of 20 general knowledge questions, from Maths, to Geography. The children didn't leave any questions unanswered and gave them all a go.   We had a draw - both teams...

    TT Rockstars!

    To celebrate TT Rockstars day we made sure we had a breakfast fit for Rockstars ready and waiting. We had a prize for our best dressed and had an Ipad evening in after school club so that children were able to move up the rankings even further.
