Art - Paul Klee

An art activity, featured on the 'Ms Williams' Art Ideas' page last week, has inspired our children.

Paul Klee was a Swiss-born artist (1879-1940). He was influenced by movements in art that included Expressionism, Cubism and Surrealism. Klee was a natural draftsman who experimented with Colour Theory. He and his colleague, Wassily Kandinsky (we have a class named after him), both taught at the Bauhaus school of art, design and architecture in Germany.

Key worker children had a play with colour and shape to create their own Klee inspired pieces. I think they look great!
