    Dragon eyes

    As part of our learning in art, the children in year 1 have designed their own dragon eyes. Today they used clay to make their dragon eyes. Once they are dry the children will paint them and then bring them home.

    Last week, for National Science Week, the children used connecting flowers and card to build towers. Once they built their towers the children used rulers and metre sticks to measure how tall they were.

    Year 1 Multi-skills sports festival

    Yesterday the children in Year 1 took part in a multi-skills sports festival which was ran by our Year 6 sports leaders. The children completed a range of activities including a jumping, balancing, running and throwing.

    We are actors

    The children in Year 1 worked in small groups to act out the beginning and middle of our story Knights and Dragons Unite! The children pretended to be either dragons or knights.
