This week the children in year 6 back in school have settled back into school life well. They have been getting used to new routines to ensure school is as safe as possible so they can still have lots of fun and interesting new lessons. They have been using Oak Academy for Maths and English which has been great and produced some brilliant letters of complaint. They even managed to get out in the sun for a socially distanced game of cricket!

 

Our new topic has been WW2. Children in Miss Britten's class have been learning about how the war started, the Blitz and how Hitler rose to power prior to the start of the war. The children are really engaged with the topic and even produced some art work to do with the Blitz.
