To finish our 'Ancient Greek' topic, we explored Greek pottery. We began by recovering pieces of an artefact from sand and asked questions about what we had found. We researched how the pots were used in the past and compared them to now.  After that, we used different techniques to create a range of patterns inspired by this artwork. We then used a variety of clay tools to make patterns using different techniques. We created our own pinch pots and had to work the clay carefully to ensure it was smooth and strong. Finally, we engraved a design onto the edge of our pots.
