Our day was all about team games rather than races.  The learning objective was to 'watch and wait', a lot harder than it sounds when you are only three or four!

Across three weeks of practice, everyone who attends school on a Tuesday (our PE day) had a chance to be a team captain.  

The four events were a team running relay, a relay equivalent to egg and spoon (think bean bag and frizbee) a slalom and a throwing event.  

In the run up to the day (pun intended) every learner made themselves a medal.  Each understood that the way to earn a medal was not to be the fastest but to be alert for their turn, do their best and tag their partner.

It was a roaring success and we are enormously proud.
