School Business Manager

Hours:                           37 hours (8:00am to 4:00pm)

Salary:                          M3 (scale point 36-38) – £39,880 to £41,881

Start date:                  1st January 2021

Closing date:              2nd December at 12:00pm (extended due to a delay in advertising)

We are looking for an experienced, well-motivated and dedicated School Business Manager to join our highly successful team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a Senior Leadership Team in a forward thinking school which has a real ‘can do’ attitude.

The successful candidate will have proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams of support staff in the following areas: Finance and Procurement, HR and Payroll, Marketing, Business Support Services and Office Management.

This role is key to the success of the school and we seek a School Business Manager (SBM) who has a positive attitude, who cares about making a difference to the outcomes of our children and can take others along the journey with them. They will need to be a team player that is able to multi task effectively, motivate others and demonstrate a commitment to achieving high standards. The post-holder will ideally have relevant SBM qualifications and have had experience in a similar environment.

The successful candidate will work within an experienced leadership team and be afforded autonomy to lead and drive forward change.

To do this you will have:

  • A strong academic record including SBM qualification (or willingness to undertake this qualification).
  • Be self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and to a high level of accuracy.
  • Leadership and management experience of areas including: Finance, HR, Health and Safety, Premises, Facilities and Project Management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present both written and verbal information for the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors.
  • A genuine desire to involve yourself fully in the life of our school and to work as part of our highly organised and passionate team.

Casual Cleaner

£9.00 per hour

Hours 3.30pm - 6.00pm (when needed)

We are looking to appoint a casual Cleaner to join our team when needed.

Duties will include the cleaning of designated areas to a high standard throughout the school.

Monday—Friday 3.30pm—6.00pm (when required)

£9.00 per hour
